Shieldvue
The present global climate has increased to an all-time high with concern and attention over improving defenses against attacks with chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) weapons of mass destruction. A major component of this effort is the protection of DOD facilities.
The protection of these, as well all federal and state facilities, is accomplished via the designation and management of equipment "families of systems" (FoS), that implement the defense and response options for possible CBRN attacks.
ShieldVue (System Home for Installation Protection Engineering and Logistics Data) is the only commercial-off-the-shelf product that offers FoS management capability, to include the engineering and logistics data management of these protection systems. ShieldVue also supports crisis planning and program data management of other facilities, such as commercial industry and schools at state and local levels.
ShieldVue provides an integrated data environment for a site commander or a crisis coordinator to plan and manage a strategy and a program for physical site protection and crisis response planning against weapons of mass destruction attacks. The off-the-shelf capabilities are designed to support a particular installation's integrated Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) protection and response data management objectives.
