Press Release
CLEARFILED, Utah - January 9, 2006 - TopVue, the leading small business provider of contract and CDRL data management solutions announced today that it had received an order to support the contractual execution processes within Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation.
Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, a subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation, designs and manufactures advanced helicopters for commercial, industrial, and military uses. Sikorsky is based in Stratford, Connecticut, and has major facilities at other Connecticut locations, as well as Florida, Alabama, and Wisconsin. Core U.S. military production programs are based on the H-60 aircraft, including U.S. Army Blackhawk and U.S. Navy Seahawk. Worldwide variants of these helicopters are serving within 25 different governments.
To assist with preparation and administration of contract-related data, Sikorsky has selected CDRLvue. CDRLvue will consolidate Sikorsky's contract data requirements across multiple contracts, support internal approval and review cycles of contractual deliverables, provide enhanced reporting capabilities, and support quality initiatives for delivery performance. The driver for acquiring TopVue's CDRL management system is their Achieving Competitive Excellence program, the quality-improvement initiative that United Technologies Corp. Chairman and CEO David George has established as the standard for Sikorsky and UTC's other subsidiaries.
"TopVue is very pleased to be selected by Sikorsky Aircraft," said Bill Farr, CEO of TopVue Defense, Inc. "Our CDRL management solution provides capabilities directly targeted to the defense contractor role in government contractual execution processes. We see this as a major market for us and are very much looking forward to supporting Sikorsky."
