The Department of Defense vision of a modern defense infrastructure is one of joint, collaborative, and interoperable systems. In this same theme, TopVue has developed an integrated application suite to meet a program’s lifecycle data execution needs. TopVue’s unique approach to program execution provides information immediacy to program decision makers because the data is logically and physically related to support the major program processes.
TopVue software applications enable program office transformation and are unique in the following ways:

Program Lifecycle Support. At the start of the program lifecycle mission requirements, program baselines, funding documents, modification proposal processes, data calls and other related activities occur before a ‘product’ or asset hits a DD250 (material inspection and receiving report). As such tools are needed for managing these contractual data requirements before a part number is introduced. The TopVue best of breed tools can be implemented in these ‘pre-product’ lifecycle phases.
As program execution progresses the TopVue data model design supports the ‘pillar’ activities for the program and subsequent product lifecycle.
Data management for the processes of Program Management (PMvue)
Contract data and CDRL management (CDRLvue),
Risk management (RiskVue),
Configuration management (CMvue), Sustainment,
ILS and indentured part data management (ILSvue),
and Metrics generation (ScoreVue) is required to achieve the ‘top view’ of the program and product lifecycle.
Mature product lifecycle phases of
Depot Planning (DepotVue) and
Foreign Military Sales (FMSvue) extend program office productivity to cover this later lifecycle.
Innovation. TopVue research and development engineers continue to push the programmatic productivity envelope with new modules such as XML-based CDRL delivery (CDRLexpress) and mobile access to program data (MobileVue).
Easily Configured. TopVue holds a patent for dynamic database technology, which enables adaptability to unique program needs. This technology shortens feature-tailoring cycle times resulting in lower cost implementations.
Interoperable. Where TopVue best of breed point solution tools are not applicable, the TopVue XML-based services oriented architecture (SOA) layers make it straightforward and open to interface with other systems, like SharePoint, so that a Program Manager can go to one place to view critical acquisition related data. This capability also leverages existing investment in front office or in-field tools.
Standards and Certifications. TopVue products comply with the intent of the following standards: DoD5010.12M, MIL-Hdbk-61, GEIA-649, -859, and others. TopVue’s applications are web-based and run on Oracle or SQL Server database platforms. TopVue applications are certified to run on USAF, Army, and Navy .mil networks.
