Press Release
LAYTON, Utah - July 1, 2005 - TopVue, the leading small business provider of DoD focused contract and CDRL data management solutions announced today that it had been selected to support the acquisition processes within the US Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI).
Located in Research Park, Orlando, FL, PEO STRI executes acquisition programs worth over $1.5 billion annually. The organization acquires, develops and fields interoperable training, testing, and simulation solutions, including lifecycle management of most of the Army's training systems used around the world. PEO STRI products, such as the Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM) program, are providing the command and control training required for today's Army, including joint, interagency, intergovernment, and multinational organizations. This year WARSIM was recognized as one of the DoD's "Top 5 Software Programs", which was awarded at the Systems and Software Technology Conference in Salt Lake City, UT. Other PEO STRI programs include components of Military Operations on Urban Terrain (MOUT), which will provide urban operations training to today's warfighters in support of the global war on terror.
In support of these efforts, PEO STRI has selected TopVue's CDRLvue product to provide off-the-shelf acquisition data management support for its simulation and training systems to be incorporated into the Army's training programs. CDRLvue will facilitate PEO STRI's definition and management of contract data requirements and their accompanying contract data requirements lists (CDRLs), including CDRL delivery schedule projections, generation of the DoD 1423 forms and receipt and tracking of actual contractor data submissions.
"TopVue is very happy to be selected for support of the Army's training and simulation efforts," said Bill Farr, CEO of TopVue Defense, Inc. "The acquisition of simulation and training systems used to prepare today's warfighters is such a critical effort, we are very eager to support it in whatever way possible. TopVue has enjoyed successful customer implementations in both Air Force and Navy programs, and to begin supporting the Army is something that's very much in-line with our corporate vision."
