Press Release
CLEARFIELD, Utah - September 1, 2005 - TopVue, a leading provider of off-the-shelf software and services to the Department of Defense and Federal Government announced today that it was expanding its support for the Global Positioning System (GPS) Joint Program Office (JPO).
The GPS JPO is located at the Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) at Los Angeles Air Force Base, CA. The NAVSTAR GPS provides highly accurate three-dimensional position, velocity and time to a wide variety of US and allied field forces as well as navigation data to civilian and commercial users worldwide.
TopVue has been supporting GPS in a phased roll out of the TopVue CDRLvue system for managing contractual data deliverables for GPS programs. The GPS JPO has decided to expand its TopVue implementation, centralizing its systems engineering and program data management requirements into a single integrated data environment (IDE), which will include contract and CDRL management, configuration management, program action item tracking, meeting and calendar management, and programmatic risk management. The GPS JPO has selected to expand its TopVue implementation to support these IDE requirements.
"Our selection to support the IDE efforts of the GPS JPO is right in line with our product strategy," said Bill Farr, CEO of TopVue Defense, Inc. "Our solutions can be delivered on a module by module basis; however they are designed and developed in an integrated architecture that enables them to support IDE efforts such as with GPS. TopVue is very pleased to support these efforts with GPS."
