TopVue Releases Contract Execution Management Features in CDRLvue for DoD Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Programs

Clearfield, UT - 12 April 2005 - TopVue Defense, Inc., a leading provider of off-the-shelf software and services to the Department of Defense announced today it released new features in its market leading CDRLvue product to support DoD Foreign Military Sales Programs.

Department of Defense agencies provide other countries with equipment for their military missions through Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts. These contracts have peculiar contractual data management processes coupled with controlled data access and multi-time zone issues.

TopVue's CDRLvue-FMS tackles these requirements with FMS specific features for sustainment support programs for military equipment sold through FMS contracts. CDRLvue-FMS allows a DoD FMS Program Office Data Manager and Project Officer to efficiently control contract execution processes. On top of the DoD 5010.12M standard CDRL creation, scheduling, submittal and approval process management, CDRLvue-FMS integrates part warranty management, failure description documents and transfer of custody data management and processes within the CDRL execution framework. The web-based system facilitates the processing, review and approval of Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDR), Trouble Failure Descriptions (TFD), and Transfer of Custody (ToC, Form 1149) data integrated with a parts database with warranty tracking features.

TopVue's contract data requirements and execution system, CDRLvue, manages the contractual lifecycle of a program's contractual data requirements. TopVue's CDRLvue can create and manage a contract's data requirements from an RFP package and maintain a historical record of each contractual requirement as it progresses throughout the life cycle of the contract. CDRLvue is the only commercial off the shelf tool of its kind, as it is delivered with an integrated data model to support programmatic processes of Risk Management, Configuration Management, Project Management, Milestones, Systems Engineering, ILS, Depot Planning, and integrated Balanced Scorecard measures. Other included features are Document Management, Action Item tracking, Meeting Management, Calendar Management, graphical Workflow and Process Management.

"This new FMS feature set extends our functional reach of contractual execution governance," states Bill Farr, CEO of TopVue Defense, Inc. "We are excited to help the FMS program community with their efficiency and transformation objectives."
