TopVue Support for Aging Weapon Systems Enhanced with the Release of their Depot Planning Tool, 'DepotVue', for use in the F-16 Depot at Hill AFB, Utah

CLEARFIELD, Utah - September 30, 2004 - TopVue, a leading small business provider of DoD focused information technology solutions, today announced the release of their DepotVue module for the F-16 production planning group at Hill AFB. TopVue's DepotVue module was built to meet the needs of F-16 Non-PDM (Planned Depot Maintenance) planners who need to plan and cost depot workloads and kit schedules based on aircraft induction schedules.

DepotVue, implemented as the F-16 'Aircraft Enterprise System (AES), serves as the main portal to for depot planners, schedulers, workloaders and program managers to access relevant planning data. The system integrates data from legacy systems and is essential to planning resources and funding for the depot each year, resulting in better accuracy on cost and reduced man hours to perform the planning.

The F-16 is an aging aircraft still vital around the world with various configurations and modification applications throughout the years. Because of mission needs, such aircraft systems do not always adhere to depot planning environments, resulting in manual costly efforts to plan and cost depot workloads. The DepotVue system addresses these needs in a web-based environment so that: induction schedules can be input via the web; modifications can be planned based on the type and configuration of aircraft inducted; kit schedules required for the mods can be lined up accurately; labor workloads can be projected accurately and matched to the induction schedule; depot end item sales price can be calculated; and maintenance operation data can be planned and reviewed per regulations.

"Our DepotVue system, built with direct input from our F-16 customer, addresses the need to save time and money on depot planning activities for non-PDM environments, while providing accurate project directive-based costs. DepotVue along with other TopVue tools used in MAPA (Mature and Proven Aircraft directorate supporting A-10, T-37 and other systems) shows our commitment to help increase efficiencies with managing aging aircraft," stated Bill Farr, CEO of TopVue.
