CLEARFIELD, Utah - January 20, 2005 - TopVue, the leading small business provider of DoD focused information technology solutions, announced today that it received the 'Advancing Business Prosperity' award from the Davis County, Utah Chamber of Commerce.
Each year companies are recognized in the county for achievements. The 'Advancing Business Prosperity' award is an entrepreneurism award given to companies that advance prosperity in the way of job growth and recognition. TopVue's recognition comes from its recent growth and national expansion activities. Within 24 months of start-up, TopVue has doubled its staff, and has grown its revenue by over 1,000%. They have penetrated national markets and have sold into the Air Force, Navy, and Army around the country. Further, with their head quarters in Layton, UT, they have grown into Colorado, Arizona, and California with permanent staff and have positioned themselves to be part of key national defense initiatives including Missile Defense, Aging Weapon System Support, and Anti-Terrorism. Moreover, TopVue has also grown into other critical markets with software products that manage natural resources and water quality and conservation.
Some recent achievements include TopVue's recognition as the software tool of choice for contract data management at the Space & Missile Systems Center, at Los Angeles AFB, to support streamlining weapon system acquisition processes. At Hill AFB TopVue has been attributed to supporting millions of dollars of cost savings in weapon system sustainment. TopVue is also involved in new Army anti-terrorism projects where their software was selected to be the main data repository to manage equipment and plans used by first responders for weapons of mass destruction attacks at DoD installations.
