submarine, air, and shore platforms, including other service members, as well as other coalition partners.
This program follows the Department of Defense strategic initiative to align Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) so that it's positioned to meet future communications requirements.
TopVue provides the single-source repository for acquisition data and processes which includes document management, online vendor CDRL submittals, subsequent approval routings, and acquisition configuration management. TopVue's program collaboration features enable action item tasking and management, and an online program calendar which shows all date-sensitive events, such as pending submittals, program meetings, and action items due.
TopVue also provides risk management capabilities to the NMT program. Risk management is a systematic process whereby potential program issues are identified and effectively mitigated, thus avoiding the possible negative program consequences. TopVue integrates the risk repository within the acquisition data framework, so that NMT's risk management processes are integrated within the overall acquisition strategy.
