CLEARFIELD, Utah - September 20, 2007 - TopVue Defense, Inc., (TopVue), the leading small business provider of Contract execution and Configuration data management solutions announced today that is received a contract for their CDRLvue and CMvue products at USAF Military Satellite Communications Systems Wing (MILSATCOM) at Los Angeles Air Force Base, CA.
TopVue’s contract is to support the automation of the management of configuration control board (CCB) activity for the U.S. Air Force Military Satellite Communications Systems Wing (MCSW). MCSW develops, acquires, and sustains space-enabled, global communications capabilities to support National Objectives. The wing has five Groups and one squadron which deliver three primary Satellite Communications (SATCOM) product lines. The MCSW is headquartered at Los Angeles Air Force Base (AFB) with an Alexandria, VA operating location. Terminal programs are executed by the Electronic Systems Center at Hanscom AFB, MA. MILSATCOM terminals are maintained by the Space Logistics Group in Colorado Springs, CO.
The CCB is the central forum to assess and approve contract actions and technical changes to Satellite Communications Systems. MCSW managers hold CCB meetings monthly to review and decide upon change issues. Because MCSW personnel are spread out across various locations, there existed many administrative challenges in managing CCB agenda items and related comments. TopVue is implementing the CCB module within the TopVue CMvue commercial off the shelf (COTS) software system.
Other users of TopVue include: USAF SMC HQ - Site License, GPS, MILSATCOM, A-10, F-16, ICBM, JPEO JTRS, AMF JTRS, Navy SATCOM, USN GBS, DoE-INL, Raytheon, Lockheed, Joint Cargo Aircraft program office, and others.
