The A-10 program office is part of the Mature and Proven Aircraft Directorate (MAPA) at the Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill AFB. The directorate is responsible for a multitude of weapon systems (over 30 to include A10, F4, F5, T37, T38), operated by the USAF, US Navy, NASA, other government agencies, and 64 foreign countries.

The continuing engineering and support of mature and proven aircraft requires the generation, archival, and management of numerous and diverse information objects and their interdependencies.
The TopVue off-the-shelf system was purchased by MAPA and implemented as MAPA.net. TopVue provides a common repository system for weapon system configuration management data and document management. This capability enables the MAPA directorate to identify the current baseline and track all configuration changes to the aircraft within MAPA responsibility.
TopVue continues to support MAPA with rapid turn-around times for new feature delivery. In 2004 the A-10 program office had the need to track wing serial numbers with respect to the history of their use per aircraft tail number. Such capability helps support engineers in determining service life of wings and other critical airframe parts. TopVue rolled up their sleeves and delivered the required capability within 90 days. Further, the MAPA directorate requires the tracking of CDRL items provided by their prime contractors. TopVue's CDRLvue is used to track these items.
The use of MAPA.net has allowed a small team to manage CM and OSS&E processes and weapon system support processes across several program offices, as well as to maintain compliance with IG Unit Compliance Inspections and other regulations. This has resulted in cost avoidance for added personnel for this function.
