Joint Cargo Aircraft (JCA), Army Program Executive Office - Aviation Chooses TopVue’s CDRLvue System

CLEARFIELD, Utah - May 30, 2007 - TopVue Defense, Inc., (TopVue), the leading small business provider of Contract execution and Configuration data management solutions announced today that Joint Cargo Aircraft (JCA), Army Program Executive Office - Aviation in Huntsville, AL chose TopVue’s CDRLvue system.

The Army's Future Cargo Aircraft's primary mission is on-demand transport of time-sensitive/mission-critical cargo and key personnel to forward deployed Army units operating in a joint operations area. For the Air Force, the JCA will provide the service with the capability to provide intra theater airlift full time as part of the "common user pool," to serve all services in theater. The Army's version of the JCA could also be used as part of the common user pool when it is not supporting Army organic airlift needs. In June 2006, the Army Vice Chief of Staff and the Air Force Vice Chief of Staff signed a JCA memorandum of agreement, and in October of that year the JCA Joint Program Office (JPO) stood up at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Ala.

The JCA Program Office is managing the acquisition of mid-range, multifunctional and interoperable aircraft, able to perform logistical re-supply, MEDEVAC, troop movement, airdrop operations, humanitarian assistance and homeland security missions in support of Homeland Security for the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. The C-27J will replace the U.S. Army’s C-23 Sherpas, C-12 and C-26 aircraft and augment the U.S. Air Forces’ existing fleet of intratheater airlifters. The aircraft will play a key role in providing responsive aerial sustainment and critical re-supply support for the maneuver force to maintain operational momentum.

JCA purchased TopVue’s software technology to be used as the central repository for all contract execution data requirements (CDRLs), program documentation, action items calendars, risks and configuration control boards.
