CLEARFIELD, Utah - December 30, 2006 - TopVue Defense, Inc., (TopVue), the leading small business provider of Contract execution and Configuration data management solutions announced today that the configuring services option on a sole source contract for their CMvue product has been exercised by the ICBM Systems Wing at Hill AFB, UT.
The ICBM Systems Group is responsible for inception-to-retirement integrated weapons system management of Minuteman and Peacekeeper weapon systems for the U.S. Air Force. The group develops, acquires and supports silo based ICBMs and provides program direction and logistics support.
TopVue’s contract with ICBM provides personnel to perform tasks necessary to ensure accurate control, visibility and support to ICBM engineering processes in support of Minuteman and Peacekeeper weapon systems by providing the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) System Program Office (SPO) data management and process support to ensure critical missile item/part supportability. Several aspects of this effort are focused toward providing specific improvements in responding to ICBM configuration management support requests and related evaluations for item supportability. Effective configuration management (CM) processes are required for the ICBM SPO to identify, control, and maintain the configuration of the ICBM weapon system.
TopVue is assisting CM managers with the establishment, updates, and maintenance of written ICBM hardware and software configuration management practices and procedures to identify, control, and maintain the configuration of the ICBM weapon system. These services are offered through the use of TopVue’s CMvue software system.
