Space and Missiles Systems Center Headquarters (SMC HQ) AFB Contracts for CDRLvue Common Process Support

CLEARFIELD, Utah - July 30, 2007 - TopVue Defense, Inc., (TopVue), the leading small business provider of contract and CDRL data management solutions announced today that the Space and Missiles Systems Center Headquarters (SMC HQ) at Los Angeles AFB awarded a contract to TopVue for all CDRLvue related products and common process support.

The Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), a subordinate unit of the Air Force Space Command at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, is the center of technical excellence for researching, developing and purchasing military space systems. The center is also responsible for on-orbit check-out, testing, sustainment and maintenance of military satellite constellations and other Department of Defense space systems. The center has an annual total budget in excess of $6.8 billion per year and employs 1,358 military members, 1,068 civilians and an estimated 2,000 contractors worldwide. It manages between $50 and $60 billion in contracts at any one time.

The SMC Chief Engineer and Director of Engineering and Architectures Office (SMC/EA) purchased TopVue’s CDRLvue and CMvue in 2006 as a tool to support ‘horizontal’ common processes across SMC wings. After successful implementations of CDRLvue and CMvue in the largest SMC wings of GPS and MILSATCOM, the TopVue system is being supported by SMC/EA to provide a common platform for space system configuration and contract baseline data across the programs. The TopVue modules will also be implemented to support Architecture Review Boards and related processes.

Other users of TopVue include: GPS, MILSATCOM, A-10, F-16, ICBM, JPEO JTRS, AMF JTRS, Navy SATCOM, Joint Argo Aircraft, USN GBS, DoE-INL, Raytheon, Lockheed and others.
